Update: i see that this tutorial is now obsolete, there is no more a sd3 branch of Automatic1111. If you experience any issue, download Forge instead.
Let's make it short: You can't with the normal version but you can with a special branch of the software.

StableDiffusion version 3 released! First tests
As you may know, Stable Diffusion 3 has been released.
To test this text to image model (txt2img), you will have to go to the huggingface page of StabilityAi dedicated to download Stable Diffusion version 3.
To download the model, you have to sign up, but don't worry it is free of charge if you don't use the model for a commercial purpose.
If you want to use it, you will have to use ComfyUI (at least for the moment).
As I explain in this video, SD3 won't work with Automatic1111 for the moment,

So, after all these weeks, you have decided to update StableDiffusion.
With all the extensions that you tried, you rapidly see that you have some problems of compatibility with some of them, so you decide that it could be a good idea to make a clean reinstallation of StableDiffusion.

Stable Diffusion is a tool to create pictures with keywords. Starting from a random noise, the picture is enhanced several times and the final result is supposed to be as close as possible to the keywords.
The thumbnail above links to a picture that has been generated starting from another picture hosted on Civitai , the goal of this tutorial is to provide ideas to retrieve the keywords with which the picture has been generated. The tutorial assumes that you have a functional version of Automatic1111 on your computer. It may work with other interfaces of StableDiffusion.
