This is the second part of my tutorials on super-resolutions.
I want to be able to generate pictures above their normal resolutions.
It can be like in this famous "zoom and enhance" trick, to give additional details to pictures.
But it can also be to make generated images larger with a better quality or to remove the blur that would otherwise have an upscaled picture. This is what we are going to see here.
This article is more a serie of experiments that I make with Automatic1111, to see the changes induced by some upscale settings on generated pictures, that's not really a "how to".

Part 1: How to restore blurry/pixelated pictures with basic img2img in Automatic111 ?
I want to be able to do this famous Hollywood "zoom - enhance" trope trick at home.
I used various tools to get a result and this result varies a lot in function of the technic that I used.
In this article I will cover how to use the img2img tab of Automatic1111, an interface to use "stable diffusion" models, to generate enhanced pictures.

Update: i see that this tutorial is now obsolete, there is no more a sd3 branch of Automatic1111. If you experience any issue, download Forge instead.
Let's make it short: You can't with the normal version but you can with a special branch of the software.

StableDiffusion version 3 released! First tests
As you may know, Stable Diffusion 3 has been released.
To test this text to image model (txt2img), you will have to go to the huggingface page of StabilityAi dedicated to download Stable Diffusion version 3.
To download the model, you have to sign up, but don't worry it is free of charge if you don't use the model for a commercial purpose.
If you want to use it, you will have to use ComfyUI (at least for the moment).
As I explain in this video, SD3 won't work with Automatic1111 for the moment,

If you are wondering if this website is still alive... well it is...
Right now, i am mostly generating video with Diffex and LCM models.
I keep the website that you are reading for the main articles only, so meanwhile i am still doing updates on my CivitAi page. Where i post my test content. If you are not an user of CivitAi, i suggest you to register, because you are not going to be able to see all the content there without an account. I find the criterias of CivitAi at bit questionnable, sometimes.
Meanwhile, i've decided to post some series of clips to train myself how to do better clips. (Comment about that: the videos on civitai have usually a better quality, it is just that i don't try to put music on civitAI).

I discovered recently some cool LCM models that i can use with DiffEx / AnimateDiff-CLI-Prompt-Travel, like Paradigm-LCM or the AnimateDiff-LCM Motion Model.
