Stability AI released a new online service to produce AI generated music.
How to use Stable Audio ?
The principle is the same as with Stable Diffusion: Thanks to a series of prompts you can generate the content you want.
You may feel frustrated because unlike the other links that i posted below this tool is not local on your computer but server side. To produce some music you need to create a login or with a email or by using a Gmail account. The most basic license allows you to produce something like 20 songs a month, so it is not really a lot. The next license, usable for commercial production is a bit less restrictive, but is subscription-based. Expect recurring payments, even when your project doesn't make money.
On a commercial perspective, i don't find the deal very interesting.
So is it a good tool to produce music ?
I like metal, synth music and things like that and for the things that i like, i find the musical production very decent.
I find the musical loops a bit too repetitive. If you were producing viral web games, this would be decent, i guess.

I was very happy of the result of this one: You could hear this in a Mario-style game.

When i tried this one, it matched more or less what i wanted, but if i find it typically too repetitive (note: You will likely get another song yourself if you try.)
20 prompts to try it is really not enough to play with everything, but it is enough test if this online service to generate AI music fits your need.
